Welcome to the Alcott Parent Student Teacher Association (PTSA) Membership Page!

Wondering what PTSA is and what we do? New to the community, country, or public school system? Check out our information page to find out more about what our organization does and how we help your kids.

How can you benefit from being an Alcott PTSA Member? You'll receive local, State, and National PTA benefits with one membership card.

Do you have to sign up every year? Yes! Memberships must be renewed annually. Purchased a membership or have an account on our site? Sign In and renew your commitment. New to the school? Create an account below and join the community!

Where do membership dues go? Great question! Membership dues cover our operational costs. That means; the cost of doing business as a non-profit organization. $9 of every membership go to our council, state, and national PTAs to offset costs for advocacy, board member training, and other services. The remaining dollars go right back to Alcott PTSA’s general fund to cover operational expenses. However, this doesn’t cover all the great programs we fund each year.

What about fundraising? Yes, we do that too! Membership dues only cover a portion of our costs. With our one marquee event, the Orca Fun(d) Run, our goal is to raise $70,000 to cover our budget items to support the school including: Assemblies, Academic Enrichment, Art, Science, Music, Library, Physical Education, Community events and so much more!

Do you have to volunteer? Short answer: No. But of course, many hands make for light work. So, check out our volunteer page and sign up for something that speaks to you! (p.s. some companies even provide matching funds for volunteer hours!)

This year you have an added bonus! Sign up or renew your membership before October 31st and your name will be entered into a drawing for prizes and experiences from local business. Stay tuned for more information!
